Poll: Gay Marriage: Want One? Come to California!
Demonstrating, yet again, San Francisco and LA's unwavering dominance over the state as a whole, the California Supreme Court overturned a ban on same-sex marriage in a 4-3 ruling today. Cali's the second state to make gay marriage legal (after Massachusetts). The decision will take 30 days to go into effect, so if you wanna get gay-married, plan for a swelteringly hot late-June wedding! Congrats!

Winter Break In San Fran?
Despite a lackluster season, the Terps football team is set to take on Oregon State in the Emerald Bowl in San Francisco.
The school will be selling 10,000 tickets to the game, which can be found online at tickets.umd.edu.
It's great that Maryland is making so many tickets available, but it begs an important question: Who the hell is going to this game?

Terps Drop The Ball In Emerald Bowl
In not much of a surprise, the Terps football team recently lost 21-14 to Oregon State in the Emerald Bowl, held in San Francisco.
According to the Diamondback, the loss was a big blow to the seniors on the team, as it was their last game in Terp red and black.
On a positive note, coach Ralph Friedgen had to enjoy all of the great restuarants San Fran has t o offer.
