Downtown Blacksburg Sets Curfew for Unders
There are 18 bars/nightlife hotspots located in downtown Blacksburg, and only one of them is a 18+ venue, Oge-Chi's (O.C.). Beginning this school semester, O.C is no longer letting unders in after midnight. So where is the Under-Aged demographic supposed to get their groove on?

The Amethyst Initiative is an organization made up of U.S. college presidents and chancellors that in July 2008 launched a movement calling for the reconsideration of U.S. drinking age laws, particularly the minimum age of 21. (USA)
I was surprised when this organization is supported by over 125 college presidents.

Many venues follow similar rules becuase unders are a libality and dont generate as much revenue as someone that is over 21.
Plus the OC sucks.
