Wave Goodbye To Preggo-Free College Girls

If President Bush's attempt to ban birth control succeeds, expect either the number of pregnant college women to rise or the amount of sex happening on campus to drop.

Latest comment by Anonymous: Thats absolutely impossible. Who the heck came up with that?! It would be a complete impossibility due to the infringement of freedom of choice (aka constitutional rights.) So so SO stupid to even worry or t... MORE »
China Using Underage Athletes?
In watching the gymnastic competitions in the Bejing Olympics one of China's gymnast, Jiang Yuyuan, looked like she was about 12. A public copy of her passport , which was issued in 2008, states her birthday as Jan. 1, 1992 making her 16. But online records listing Chinese gymnasts and their ages that were posted on official Web sites in China, along with ages given in the official Chinese news media, seem to contradict the passport information, indicating that Jiang may be as young as 14 (International Herald Tribune)
Latest comment by Anonymous: China is forcing families.
If you watched the gymnast finals, it talks about how Cheng Fei begged her family to allow her to visit, but they denied. how awful, i couldn't imagine such a thing.

then again, my mom's a raging b**** so i think i would be content with seeing my family once a year.

The classic film Animal House was filmed on the University of Oregon campus in 1978. Naturally, the film triggered the toga party fad. Thirty years later, these students took a new spin on Animal House and hosted a house of animal creatures. (Eugene, OR)

College students are obviously obsessed with weird animal mysterious (um, Montauk Monster, anyone?) Check out this less-than-mysterious, but still super cute, pandog.

Belle de Jour

Belle de Jour
Belle de Jour Belle de Jour Belle de Jour
What we know as the Showtime series Secret Diary of a Call Girl staring Billie Piper is in fact based on a book that started as a blog by a real London call girl, and in 2003 The Guardian chose it as its blog of the year. Under the name Belle de Jour this call girl maintains a successful blog which she is still posting on. http://belledejour-uk.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html (London)

The name "Belle de jour" is a play on the phrase, which translates to "lady of the day", possibly in reference to the daylight rendez-vous made by some call girls, including Belle de Jour herself.
