Bikinis in October

Bikinis in October
What's more beautiful than the oval on a hot day?
That chick in a bikini on the oval on a hot day.

This just in: it's ****ing hot outside. The temperatures this weekend and today (Monday) have been in the 90's and the humidity has been unbearable. In fact, a recent Chicago marathon left 1 man dead and hundreds h... MORE »

God Makes Deal With Bacow, Tufts Gets Snow
Q: What's god's way of telling us to stop going out binge drinking and stay inside studying?
A: A gigantic snow storm headed for Boston.

Crap. Now there's no escaping our books. Good thing that vodka doesn't freeze under extreme cold...

Is It Getting Hot In Here Or Is It Just TuftsLife?
Just when I was about to don my winter parka, I glanced at my computer and notice that it's a staggering 215.1 degrees Fahrenheit in December. Wait, what? Global warming aside, that's just dumb; I could have literally boiled an egg on the sidewalk, for crying out loud.

Listen, TuftsLife,... MORE »

It's Hot as Balls

It's Hot as Balls
The weather at the beginning of the school year in Claremont is borderline hellish -- especially if you're one of the football players that collapsed from the heat and got an ambulance ride to boot.

If you don't feel like waiting a couple weeks for it to pass, you should be sneaking into the pool as often as possible. The worst they'll... MORE »

The Warm Weather is Just a Tease

The Warm Weather is Just a Tease
Though it is nice (in a relative way) out today, don't expect it to remain that way.

According to weather.com, the winter weather will return next week. The high for the week will be the mid-40s and many nights will dip below freezing.

So pack those t-shirts and short-sleeve polos back up and hope for a warm March.
Pray that the weather holds out
Rumor has it that if MU cancels exams tomorrow, any 8 a.m. finals will move to 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

Is that even legal? It's so kind of the university to take the college student schedule into consideration.  All of us are certainly awake and functioning at 5 a.m. ... if that's when we get back from the bars.
Orange Skies Over the Village of Wesleiana

The sky was inexplicably and marvelously orange in the Middletown/Wesleyan area during a storm this week. The entire town appeared to be awash in the glow, overwhelmed by a sky of melted orange sherbet. (Middletown, CT)

My hypothesis: The water molecules lingering in the humid air reflected the light from the sunset on their numerous, microscopic facets, producing a sky overcast in orange.

Fears for Another Rainy Dillo Day
After an extremely party heavy weekend and less than a week to the most extreme party weekend we ever really see here at Northwestern, today's weather does not bode well for the future.

Last weekend, we were lucky enough to see our first truly nice days - according to the Chicago Tribune, one of ... MORE »

Remember last year's blizzard? (This dog does.)

Ah, the glory. No class, no plows in most neighborhoods, lots of walking trips to the liquor stores... but the best part? Just a lot of ****ing snow. Exactly how a Christmas should be.

This year, we aren't so lucky. Expect freezing rain all weekend. Which makes it equally hard to drive to the liquor store... shit.
