Everyone's favorite two story walk-up, McCosh hall, is 100 years old this year. For an English major like me, those hallowed steps and hideously uncomfortable lecture seats are familiar territory; Fitzgerald himself probably went running up those stairs, five minutes late for his Intro Moral Philosophy class.

It's one of the oldest and largest buildings on campus and always an ivy-encrusted showcase on the orange key tours, so isn't it time for an upgrade? I'm suggesting more comfortable chairs for a start, with desks you can actually fit a notebook on.
