Brian Reams' Family Determined To Remember His Life, Not His Death
"Play like a champion today" was Brian Reams' motto. His family and fraternity brothers are using that slogan as a way to remember Brian for something other than the tragedy that took his life on March 4th.

Brain was struck by a vehicle on Hilyard street and later died as a result of the collision. The driver, who just recently pleaded guilty to the charges brought against him, proceeded to drive off, claiming that he was "just scared... and panicked."

Hopefully, now that the case is closed, Brian's family and friends will be able to feel some sort of closure and move forward in remembering Brian as a son, friend or sibling, instead of a victim of a horrible tragedy.

Aaron Heyer, the driver, will serve 19 months in prison, and will be ineligible for a driver's license for 5 years following his release.
