For whatever reason Newsweek felt compelled to run a piece on acapella groups. Maybe they saw those glorious shots of the Rutgers' Chorus Girls Gone Wild!
There is so much disturbing information in the article, that I can overlook the fact that the Bubs dropped $30K to record a CD .
First, Osama bin Laden sang acapella?! Seriously?
Second, University of Virginia's acapella group is called the Hullabahoos. Harvard's group is the Krokodiloes and Yale's is the Whiffenpoofs.
Am I missing something?
Finally, a proformance by the Hullabahoos draws 4,000 fans. Does Goddard Chapel hold that many?
I need some time to digest this.
