Going against all common beliefs that Tufts has no school spirit, there are least 11 candidates for homecoming queen, which is decided this Friday at the Pep Rally. (Tufts has pep rallies?) Yesterday on Facebook there were almost 20 candidates, though it seems like a few of the more lagging candidates have already dropped out.

In the lead at the moment are probably the two most apathetic and least-Homecoming-Queenish Jumbos, Ashley, the "Street Ho Takin' Ova" and Kiki,  she of "Make Mediocre Choices" -- coincidentally, the two candidates holding booze in their Facebook group pictures. That's how we like 'em: better a 40-oz-drinking partier as Homecoming Queen than a perky, school-spirit filled one.
