Insider: Bacow is the reason we don't have wireless
According to an insider working deep in the Tufts Administration Building (or NAMBLA) President Bacow's personal feeling about wireless internets is the reason we are lagging way behind most other college campuses - and even some third world nations - in wireless internet availability.

Our source has confirmed that Bacow doesn't believe universal wireless internets is "in line with the academic mission of the university." Apparently staying ahead in terms of technology and offering students various access points all over the campus isn't within that mission.

We wonder if the Joey bus service is "in line with the academic mission." What about Senior Pub Nights? Certainly these examples are less "in line" than allowing students to get on-line wherever they are on Walnut Hill.
