Welcome to the new series "Bob Loblaw Asks..." In this series, I ask for your comments on an issue. Be sure to reply! This is the first edition.
So after seeing a video online at HackCollege where host Kelly Sutton asked 101 college students if they knew what Twitter was, I started to ponder whether or not Tufts students are that involved in the online community.
It may be hard to keep up with the advances in the latest technology for networking and social interaction, but there are a few things that most everybody (who uses the Internet on a regular basis) should know. Please answer the following questions and put your answers in the comments below:
Do you know what Twitter is? (If yes, do you have an account?)
What is the domain of your main email address? (Excluding your Tufts address)
Do you know what "RSS" is? (If yes, what are your favorite feeds?)
Have you ever used Skype?
Do you know what a woot-off is?
Do you follow any Internet memes? (If yes, which?)
Do you write a blog or private online journal?
What are some tasks that you used to complete by hand that you now do online? (i.e. calendar, task management, address books, etc.)
Thanks all. Really interested in seeing your replies... and remember, if you want to blog for TuftsOTR, we are still looking for more contributors...

3. Yes--it's where you can add a news source to a feed so you can have a bunch of them on a page and then read them all at once.
