Breaking News: The New York Times Discovers A Cappella; Finds It "Goofy"
In what may be the funniest article this year not dealing with public masturbation, the New York Times has investigated college a cappella and come to the shocking conclusion that it's "for drama students and nerds."

The article interviews several graduates who consider their college a cappella careers to be a "lingering embarrassment to those who cannot grasp how a dozen or so singers making drum noises with their mouths might look to an outsider," concluding that college a cappella is "almost always a shorthand for rampant geekiness."

To be fair, pretty much everyone at Tufts is a rampant geek. (Example: I am sitting at home on a Saturday night blogging about college a cappella.) And also to be fair, the article interviews the music director of the Bubs and admits that they sing great ... they just look kinda funny while they do it.
