Campus Crime up 330 Percent!

Campus Crime up 330 Percent!
After the string of sexual assaults reported at Tufts last term, the FBI has released new numbers showing a spike in on-campus crimes.

As reported in BostonNOW (that flimsy paper they pay homeless people to hand you on your way into the T), crime at Tufts has increased by a mind-numbing 330 percent.

Director of Public Safety John King explained to NOW  why Tufts and MIT have higher crime numbers this year over last. "Because our campuses overall are very safe, a small increase in the number of incidents in one year can result in a significant percentage increase," he grumbled.

That still doesn't make anyone feel better about the three rapes, seven aggravated assaults and 121 reported thefts on Walnut Hill this past year. And it definitely doesn't make anyone feel better about Most Wanted former students or the hiring of convicted sex offenders without background checks.
