Dangerous to Exercise when Fat, Says Tufts Cardiologist

Dangerous to Exercise when Fat, Says Tufts Cardiologist
American TV can send people to remote desert islands and have them attacked by maggots and let ten-year-olds run an entire civilization parent-free, but having fat people exercise?  No, no, it's too dangerous, says James Rippe, a cardiologist at Tufts.

Rippe is referring to Fat March, an ABC show spawned from the British hit Too Big to Walk.  The show apparently pushes contestants to their limit to have them lose weight.  Including, yes, the extremely novel idea of...walking!

It's crazy.

If you put yourself on a reality show to lose weight, what do you expect?  A Bachelor mansion?  Stop worrying. Just grab the popcorn and watch.
