As The Peasant informed you, Tufts, in all its not-so-artsy glory, has actually turned out some big-name musicians.  And campus bigshot Ezra Furman (A '08) and his Harpoons, who recently signed to independent label Minty Fresh and are recording with the same guy who did Modest Mouse records, are taking it all in.

Along with snagging a four and a half star review in the All Music Guide, the band also harpooned themselves a feature over at The Tripwire. It's a pretty big deal for a little band.

Maybe the next best political move at Tufts will be to list Ezra in your top music favorites on Facebook. But, just a word, Ezra; lose the Bar Mitzvah-style sunglasses. Seriously.
