Fashion Trends That Should Not Catch On
torsos are so five minutes agoso expensive, yet so cheapat least he isn't showing off his chest hair

Scarves and Ray Bans?  Sure.  These trends?  Don't even think about it:

  • The Marc Jacobs headband/halo: What is that giant fuzzy thing attacking Mary-Kate's head?  I don't care if you have already dedicated your wardrobe/life to MK, this space-alien-meets-80s-tennis-champ contraption is not OK for everyday life (not even Mary-Kate's everyday life).
  • Pants...by themselves:  Nice try, Society for Rational Dress, but people are not just going to forget about shirts.  Pants are not an outfit, no matter how "in" high-waisted pants may be--after all, your waist is far below your armpits.
  • Hooker Boots Thick heeled high white boots: Not even Chanel can distract from the fact that these boots make you look like a '60s go-go dancer...yes, even when they have a little bit of black on them.
  • Super deep V-Neck T-shirts for guys: This is no less creepy than guys who unbutton their collared shirts halfway to their belly buttons.  Let girls be the ones to show off their cleavage, thanks.
