Hangover Music Makes The Morning After Hurt A Little Less

Hangover Music Makes The Morning After Hurt A Little Less
Perhaps it was the overwhelming nausea I experienced this morning or the  crippling headache, but as I was perusing popular torrent-sharing site Waffles, I came across a rather interesting article. Hangover Music, eh? Now that's something I could totally get behind (especially this morning).

The Peasant's Hangover Aural Nostrums And Other Sonic Elixirs

  • Ennio Morricone - The Good, The Bad And The Ugly OST

I don't know about you, but the epic string swells and driving horn lines in "L'estasi Dell'oro" gets me fighting fit much faster than any ibuprofen and black coffee ever can.

  • Burial - Untrue

When I wake up with a splitting headache and looking like hell, I like to at least make that aesthetic seem somewhat appealing, so I turn on something as murky, atmospheric, and foggy as my head feels and listen to Burial's righteous dubstep.  Just lie back down and let the bass take you away.
  •  Tom Waits - Rain Dogs

Not sure what happened last night? Cursing those text messages you sent to your ex? Woke up with no idea where you are or how you got there? Listen to this surrealist opus and I'm sure your evening will come back to you piecemeal or you'll derive comfort from a fellow drunk.  Hell, this album is one giant hangover.

So tell me, Jumbos, what sweet jams do you use to send your hangover packing?
