Obama decided not to show up for the premiere of Saturday Night Live tonight with host Michael Phelps due to the recent news from Hurrican Ike.

Tina Fey was also rumored to have been scheduled to play Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin which I sure would be in a sketch with Barack Obama. Obama stated he would go on the show at a more appropriate time. That sounds great but SNL can only do this Palin joke so many times. There is no more appropriate time then this. Before you know it McCain will be going on and somebody will be playing Biden and Obama will be behind the eightball.

Tune in anyways though. Michael Phelps is hosting and you owe it to him to watch because he is an American hero. Also if you like Lil' Wayne. Also if you like to laugh because the show has been going on for 34 seasons.
