Matt Shapanka and Joey GPS: You have to be shitting me

My lovely colleague, The Philosopher, put it so well back in JUNE..."Joey GPS: Nope, It will never happen."Yet somehow senator Matt Shapanka and the Tufts Daily seem to be under the delusion that strapping a GPS tracking device to one of the many different Joeys is going to happen sometime this century.
Or maybe Shapanka admitted defeat, as students have given up on his pet 'project': "They think it's an interesting project but they've lost confidence that it's actually going to happen soon," he told the Daily.
What? The student body losing confidence in an inept senate that fails to do anything but offer us Boloco on points? Say it ain't so TCU!

The Agent says,
I don't understand why this whole thing is so difficult. If I can track my roommate through his cell phone, Tufts should be able to track the Joey.

i love how the senate is "inept" and apparently only exists to put boloco on MOPS. i suppose that all the work to dole out your activity fee, keep track of your funds, help organize your events, help organize your groups, and be involved in anything and everything else on campus including being basically your only link to the higher administrators and trustees just all means nothing.
but im sure sitting in your room playing halo and posting anonymous blogs criticizing everyone else is just as complicated and productive... or it's just you projecting your own worthlessness onto others.

Perhaps I should change my username to "The Oracle."
No, go back to playing Halo, you worthless sack of Decider.

The Decider says,
@ The Philosopher: thanks oh wise one, now that my life is useless and my only connection to the administration is the TCU senate, maybe I'll continue to play Halo. It will keep me from noticing all the wonderful things senate has accomplished this semester (cricket cricket)...

The Libertine says,
The whole concept of the Joey GPS is just pointless. It's already on a schedule so it's not like we don't know when it's coming.
In addition, Davis isn't that far - just walk.

@ The Decider: I think its hilarious how you can say that Senate has done nothing for the student body. I mean you're right. Turkey Shuttle? nope that's nothing. Giving money to Student groups? overrated. Tenure reports? who needs those anyway. Senate-Liaison program?..Hotung?..oh wait running out of excuses to criticize Senate..wait and what about their upcoming projects? Wait no, just can't go into that..now you just look stupid...how sad

The Peasant says,
@ Anonymous: Not as stupid as you look when you over use ellipses. How easily these senators are riled up! If you can't handle the criticisms of a student-run blog, then perhaps you should give up politics, my good stentorian.
Seriously though, I'm still convinced that Hotung is an old wives' tale used to scare freshmen.

Doesn't the turkey shuttle run every term? Wasn't hotung started a long time ago?
