OMG no one cares about some stupid frisbee article!

Can we talk about how this Daily viewpoint Op-Ed from 2005 is still getting comments three years later?!  Why do ppl still give a hoot about whether a Daily columnist thinks that throwing a plate around a grassy areashould be considered a sport?
Some chick "Athena" commented just  last month, years after the article ran:
"I had assummed [sic] that a 22-ish year old senior at a prestigious university would a) choose a relevant topic on which to write a viewpoint, and b) know how to structure his/her argument. 0 for 2, if we're talking sports terms.

This would be a great viewpoint in the New York Post, though, so if that's what you're going for than awesome. But the Daily is not the post, and the Daily STAFF, more than anyone, should realize this and hold their publication to higher standards."
I'm going to have to side with Butterfly, who commented "God, stop commenting on this ancient article. It's dead!"

It is the eternal discussion. Should it end, so too would the world. Posted 03/11/2008 10:03 AMReply
