The Winner Of The Battle Of The Bands...

...Is named FunkSoulLove? Seriously, guys, are you joking? That might be the worst band name I've heard in recent memory. Bad name and Melodesiac comparisons aside, congratulations to everyone in FSL for defeating the probably not-so-stiff competition in this past Saturday's Battle of the Bands.

Unlike many Tufts' student bands, this one is actually pretty tight. Check out their MySpace if you'd like a taste of what's in store if you're ~~drunk~~ confused enough to actually arrive on time for Spring Fling.

Wow their Melodisiac Jr. because there are two black people and rap involved. Sorry they couldn't be whiter and more imo like everyone else at Tufts. Just cause melodisiac was the first group to introduce a pretty popular form of music to tufts, you know hip-hop, doesn't mean they have a monopoly on it. Go buy a ****in hip hop cd. it might not be your cup of tea, but they are a good band. you might not like hip hop (or think you know everything about it) and thats fine too. But don't be mad because your emo band (or your friends) didnt win battle of the bands.
