Seeing green, blue, yellow, dancing gnomes is a good thing.

Researchers are attempting to understand why "magic" mushrooms are so cool.  In a clinical study 36 volunteers were given psilocybin (the fancy name for 'shrooms).

The landmark study found that tripping can be beneficial!

This study found that participants who ate 'shrooms ranked their experience as one of the most personally meaningful or spiritually significant events of their lives.  When participants were questioned 14 months later they were still reporting elevated levels of well-being and satisfaction.

So, go ahead, try a 'shroom.
