After much complaining and whinning to the department head, my advisor finally signed off on my ability to register for classes. This is after I tried contacting by phone and email to no response. I thank my lucky stars I had a fairly early time and was able to get all of the classes I wanted.

I am lucky. Some of you other sophomores and juniors have been having problems with SIS Onlinel whether it be the clogging of the interwebs, or problems with registration or course approval, this time of year is frustrating (expecially for freshmen). I mean seriously, f*ck... how do they even give out registration times?

One person told me of a SIS error that read "Special Permission Needed" when he/she was majoring in that subject and already had gotten approval. Lame. Remember the good old days when you had to wait in line at the Registrar's Office and hope that all of your first choices were still available? I don't, but my parents keep bringing it up.
