...to get arrested for jaywalking, of course.
In January, Tufts History professor Felipe Fernandez Armesto (name copied and pasted from the Tufts site - I'm not even going to try and spell that on my own) was arrested in Georgia following an incident of jaywalking. Yes, jaywalking. They actually arrest people for that shit, still?
Anyway, Atlanta Journal-Constitution "Common Sense Conservatism" columnist, Jim Wooten (does anyone else smell an oxymoron here? Or maybe just a moron?), has, of course, taken the side of the law in the situation.
Now, I'm not taking sides here one way or the other. I'm just here to say that the Conservatives really need to stop pinning Tufts as a lame target in EVERYTHING we do.
Go throw a hissy fit to someone who cares, svp.
