One of the girls walked into class today with a huge cast on her hand. When we asked her about it, she casually told us she had been in a car accident the day before and lost a finger. WHAT?? First off, how do you casually just throw that out there? Secondly, this girl lost a finger and was in school the next day. I have a stomach ache and I’m ditching. Talk about a warrior.

On a lighter note, Mrs. Ms. Smith told us about a time she was invited to a party, got all dressed up and was so excited, then found out it was one of those parties where the hosts just attempt to sell the people stuff. I’d sympathize if I wasn’t so busy laughing.

However, I do have to give Mrs. Ms. Smith credit. She had a gem of a line today while discussing her utter inability to anything involving cardio.
          “Listen, if a guy sticks a gun to my head and says run or I’ll shoot, nine times out of 10 I’m saying it’s my time to go.”
