Before he was an NBA star, Charles Barkley was a center on the basketball team at Auburn University. There the crowd-pleaser played for three years and earned the nickname “The Round Mound of Rebound” for his overweight build and aggressive style.
 

But while Barkley may be known first and foremost for his basketball skills, not far behind are the gems that come out of his mouth. Now that his games on the court are over, Barkley is a color commenter on TNT and his comments certainly are colorful. The filthyrag.com recently posted a list of his top 50 quotes and a few should really make his alma mater proud. Check them out below:

40. Ernie: “Auburn is a pretty good school. To graduate from there I suppose you really need to work hard and put forth maximum effort.”
Charles: “20 pts and 10 rebounds will get you through also!”

Charles: “No, but I have a couple people working for me who did.”
