Evel Knievel, the motorcycle riding icon, cheated death countless times, jumping over buses, lines of cars and live sharks,  but even this daredevil could not cheat pulmonary fibrosis, diabetes and...old age.

He died today at age 69.

At least he made nice with Kanye West right before dying.

Just days before, he and West had settled a federal lawsuit over West's potrayal of Knievel in a music video.

So this solves the eternal question, which is more dangerous -  pulmonary fibrosis or jumping over the Grand Canyon using a rocket bike?
