Yesterday, Harvard security guards " unanimously ratified a contract with AlliedBarton" and wages were raised to $14.50 -- a living wage! -- according to an overjoyed if slightly self-righteous e-mail floating around over lists.
Funny, though. I could've sworn I saw one of those hunger strikers eating pizza on Day 2.
I wonder if hunger striking is a full-proof plan to getting whatever we want, because I need to get into law school, and -- though I'll do it, anyway -- sleeping with LSAT graders suddenly seems less appealing.
