My summer reading recommendation...if you are a liberal.

This isn't as good as Ann's other books since most of it is one liners from the past, but they are great short shots and well worth the reading.

Of course, Ann slams the liberals and Democrats at every turn, and what is best is the shots she takes are both funny and ultimately very deep in their understanding of liberal ideology and liberal irrationality. That is what gives this book, and all of Ann Coulter's books, their spice. The writing is funny, informative, insightful all at the same time. This is difficult to do even once, but the ability to accomplish this feat over and over proves she is a genius in the field of political commentary.

Being funny and insightful, like Mark Twain and Charlie Chaplin is tough. As time goes on her work, I think her work will be appreciated more and more. No one matches her commentary today. Some excel at analysis, others at comedy, some at historical background, and still others at providing high-quality relevant information; however, no one combines all these like Ann. Plus, she is terse.

For those who have never read Ann Coulter before I would not recommend this book, because it isn't as easy to follow as her previous works. Godless, is the one I would recommend to anyone thinking about reading one of Ann's books for the first time. But no matter where you start be prepared for fast paced commentary sprinkled with facts and excellent information. If nothing else, Ann gives a person something to think about.
