There will be no suite parties allowed during reading and exam period, including the weekend following the last class on Friday. Public parties are limited to those thrown by the House (the formal and goat roast). Please respect this rule, as it means maintaining a quiet and harmonious environment for all during intense weeks of study.
Also, as many of you know, the College has recently changed its policies concerning the consumption of hard alcohol at private events, including suite parties. This means that you are no longer allowed to serve hard alcohol (whiskey, vodka etc.,) and must instead serve beer or wine, if you are of age, of course. Tutors will not sign off on party forms that indicate hard alcohol, and we will enforce this rule, as necessary. With the coming of reading and exam period, this is in many ways a moot point, since parties are not allowed anyway. Thanks for your cooperation with this!
