Students Canvas Dubuque in Support of Obama
While most students were recovering from Saturday's celebration of the Badger victory over Michigan State, 44 members of Students for Barack Obama descended upon Dubuque, Iowa to drum up support for their candidate.

They canvassed the neighborhood and surprisingly actually got some people to open the door and even talk with them. Impressive. One resident told students, “We would like Obama to be just a tad more radical, like Edwards. We would like him just a little further to the left.”

Edwards, that wild man. Too bad Obama's planned visit to Madison is Oct. 15. If he would have pushed it back a couple weeks he could have gotten down with the UW students for this year's FreakFest. I'm sure he'd get plenty radical.
