Untapped Study Areas

Untapped Study Areas

If you’re getting tired of fighting people for team rooms in Whitman or a table in Bird Library, simply avoid the stress and find yourself a random nook in one of the untapped study areas. For one, there’s the Atrium in the Schine Student Center. If you go to the top floor there is a peaceful area with, I promise you, the most comfortable chairs imaginable. The large glass windows can potentially be a distraction; however, the nice lighting does provide for a pleasant atmosphere. While this might not be ideal for a serious study session, it is certainly faultless for catching up on some reading (and even a quick nap between classes).

Other uncommon spaces: the library on the second floor of the Tolley Administration Building, team rooms on the top floor of Newhouse III, the Law School library, or the first floor of Carnegie.
