Updated BCS Standings Bode Well for Buckeyes

The new BCS rankings have been released and it means good news for the Ohio State Buckeyes.

The top two are no surprise: Missouri and West Virginia. Each won their respective games this weekend and moved to 11-1 and 10-1. The shocker is who's at third: Ohio State. With a .9192 average and the 4th place team (Georgia) at .8274, it seems Ohio State will be in with another #1 or #2 upset loss.

So how likely is that #1 or #2 upset? Missouri plays in the Big 12 Championship on December 1st at 8 PM on ABC. Oklahoma and Allen Patrick are the #9 team in the country and primed for a BCS game.

West Virginia will finish the season with a cake game at home against Pittsburgh. A loss there would truly be shocking.

Thus, the hopes of a Buckeye National Championship game are in the hands of the Sooners.
