So about a week or so, I found out that Michigan OTR was nominated for the best college blog in the nation. Upon hearing the news, I promised you all a puppy if you voted for us, and so far, with polls closing on Jan 31st, we are in the lead. Here's the current standings:

The Colonialist (George Washington U): 8%

The Bwog (Columbia): 17%

Wesleying (Last year's winner from Wesleyan): 29%

annnd Michigan OTR (that's us): 38%

So to recap, so far you guys have been kicking ass. This blog is run by exactly two people and has been around for about five months, whereas all these other ones have been around forever and have huge staffs. That means that you guys, the readers, have helped us gain the lead on these well established sites so far.

However, a wise fortune cookie once told me to not count my chickens before they hatch. There's a week left in voting and all these schools have plenty of time to pull tricks out of their ass. Wesleyan's already said they're trying to rig the vote (yeah, read that), so we need you guys and your friends to keep voting to offset this tomfoolery.

Alright, I'll keep you updated on the numbers, but so far from AHor and myself, thank you. Oh and also, a crate of Husky puppies fell off the truck, so if you requested one of those you might have to reorder.
