We all can agree that The California Aggie is a terrible “newspaper,” and perhaps this outlook on school newspapers (especially at the collegiate level) has destroyed your faith in student run publications. Well, in case you were fretting, and obviously you all were at the void left in your life by this terrible excuse for a newspaper, fret no more. Enter The Paper, a new MTV reality show about the staff of a high school newspaper starring one pretentious Editor-in-Chief, one flamboyantly fantastic Hollister wearing quasi-ethnic (yay diversity) something manager, and two horny teenagers who besides their newspaperorial duties can only keep their tongues out of each others’ faces long enough to sh*t talk their “in-Chief” (that’s newspaper lingo), you have the makings of a great show. Add to this the fact that they are all in high school so everyone is self righteous and believe themselves to know everything, what more can you ask for? So watch this damn show Mondays at 10:30 PM on MTV; yeah, I know you have nothing better to do once The Hills is over.
