April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, so, fittingly, a march/parade/hoopla to show solidarity will be held tomorrow, May 6. Besides the fact that it’s already been a week since Sexual Assault Awareness Month supposedly ended, there will be free food. Nothing goes together with domestic violence like some Chipotle Burritos. There’s also free ice cream, entertainment, and Facebook messages. Yeah, they send out Facebook messages every 15 minutes.

The bottom line, though, is that this is still for a good cause. It’s just a shame that all the messages sent out are in regards to the amenities that are provided. It’s as if they doubt any of us would show up if there wasn’t any SWAG (thanks for your faith in humanity).
