If you don’t check your email, and apparently, this is the “in” thing to do (or not do), then you have no idea that the UCs are conducting an “undergraduate experience survey”. It’s pretty important though, since Vice Chancellor Fred Wood sent out two emails regarding it. Mostly because Wood couldn’t get it right the first time (that’s what she said). In any case here are some of the most awesome question/answers on from the survey:
1. Sexual Orientation: now I’m all for not discriminating against anyone and giving every sexual orientation equal representation and rights in the way of possible bubble choices, but what possibly could “other” represent. I’m pretty sure the other six choices cover it all.
2. “Students are respected here regardless of economic or social class”: there’s really nothing wrong with this question, I guess I always assumed it was taboo to make fun of poor people. However, as the attached image will attest, it seems like it’s not only okay to make fun of poor people, but those untouchables at the bottom of the social food chain as well.
3. Last is a comparison between your skills when you entered the UC system and now; it’s mainly just awesome because they want to know about your “internet skills”. I’m pretty sure this is only funny to me, though, because as far as I know, I’m the only 1337 h4x0r.
Link: go check your own damn email you lazy bastards
