Washington State University Student Falls Two Stories at Frat House, Is Alive But Sheepish

This may seem like one of the oldest party rules in the book, but let’s reiterate: do not even think about standing on a fire escape, roof, or window ledge when drunk. Recently, a Washington State University student fell two stories from the fire escape of a frat house at the college. While we have no word on the student’s blood alcohol level, it’s much of a leap (no pun intended) to surmise that she was not quite sober.

According to the Seattle Times:

A woman fell two stories from a fraternity fire escape at Washington State University early Sunday morning.

Pullman police say the 20-year-old WSU student suffered head injuries in the fall shortly before 2 a.m. at the Theta Xi fraternity house.

She told officers she thought the fire escape had stairs instead of a ladder.
She was taken to Pullman Regional Hospital and then transferred to a Spokane hospital where she underwent surgery.

Just remember, it’s better to spill your drink than take a spill off of an elevated area when drunk. Of course, it’s better still not to spill anything.
