"Get Crunk for Kids" is the name of the event that will be going down at an undisclosed location tonight in the Boston University neighborhood.
Here's the concept. You pay $5 to get into the party. This gets you beer. Standard operation; however, there's a twist. All of the money that is raised from the party is being donated to local Boston charity, Horizons for Homeless Children.
Think about the possibilities. Now, when you're hitting on some chick, you can play up the fact that you're compassionate, that you love helping the homeless children of Boston. Not only are you a skeeve, but you're also a philanthropist.
Secondly, if you host one of these parties and the cops come to break it up, I'm sure the explanation that you're raising money for homeless children would improve your chances of not getting arrested--unless the cops are dicks.
Think about this idea next time you're throwing it down. You could even go so far as to make it themed. For example. if you're throwing a party to raise money to save the Trees, you could have a hippie party.
I'm looking forward to helping those less fortunate tonight.
