So Baylor is Baptist, and gets really excited about faith-oriented holidays. Which is totally cool, becuase I love Christmas; who doesn't? And even though I have a bunch of decorations up for Halloween right now (candy-corn lights, pumpkin lights, a gingerbread haunted house, Halloween placemats: aka, more Halloween decorations than can be imagined for a two bedroom apartment), is it too soon to accent them with Christmas decorations and then go full out after Halloween? Because I'm really tempted.
As it is we plan to have about five trees in our little apartment - even a real one if on campus apartments are allowed that luxury - as well as a gingerbread house, Christmas themed placemats, and tons of lights. So many lights that I probably won't fall asleep becuase they're so bright. But all of this is beside the point; I just want to know if I can start decorating now? I've already collected and I'm just too excited. Forget Thanksgiving - let's be honest, it kind of gets skipped over, even though it shouldn't because of all the amazing food and football - and let's just go to Christmas. Bring on the warm sweaters, pea coats, scarves and the occasional t-shirt.
Christmas decorations, meet apartment. :)
