Top five things you don't know your tuition pays for at Boise State
Make sure you're prepared with legal advise before you get here.Your kids can be in school while you are too!Sometimes, you just need somebody.Step class is waaaay underrated (coming from one very sore writer.)

Most schools' tuition costs have reached rather outlandish levels. Even going to school in-state can run up a bill of at least five grand a year. Many students are doped into thinking these fees are actually all dedicated to very expensive knowledge, but these fees (and the millions allocated by the state) generally go towards a diverse array of programs.

Compiled here is a list of programs offered at Boise State which copious amounts of undergrads don’t know about, let alone take advantage of.

The outdoor program: This program typically requires a bit of money, but the service you get is usually a fraction of the price compared to any outside agency. With programs ranging from kayak rolling to yoga backpacking trips, one can find plenty to do to keep colleges four years (or seven) exciting.

Legal services: Many undergrads never are informed that, available at no fee to them, legal counsel is offered on campus. While these attorneys aren’t generally paid to represent you in court, they can offer great advice for handling all the MIC’s you compile until you hit 21.

A daycare center: Boise State is currently more of a non-traditional campus, with nearly half of students commuting. While this may apply more so to those students, the option is there if you really, really screwed up in high school.

Counseling services: When tests, all those MIC’s and multiple children get you down, feel free to receive counseling to cope. Services range from one-on-one counseling to group sessions and seminars.

Fitness programs: Bringing it back around to the rec center, the fitness programs offered free of charge are at least as adequate as any professionally run gym’s. From pi-yo to spin class, deep water to core conditioning, these classes are a great way to feel good about the way you look and fight off the freshman 15 (or 35 as in some cases.)
