Dance Marathon at UCLA Parties for a Good Cause

UCLA continues its record of philanthropy with Dance Marathon at UCLA 2009. The 26-hour event will be held in February and benefits three groups helping those afflicted with pediatric AIDs: Camp Kindle, Camp Heartland, and the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDs Foundation. Check out more details on www.dancemarathon.ucla.edu.

As part of their awareness campaign, Dance Marathon has set up a Brew Co. Night in Westwood Thursday night.

Dance Marathon has been here since 2002 and since then, students have raised over $1.3 million  for pediatric AIDs research. The event is all student-run and last year, we had over 700 dancers, dancing for 26 hours as well as hundreds of volunteers and moralers, not to mention celebs like James Franco who came to offer words of encouragement.

So everyone should check out the event tomorrow, then sign-up to be at Dance Marathon.

There’s nothing better than partying for a good cause and then drunkenly singing karaoke in front of all your peers, so come check it out.
