She runs 100 meters in 11.23 seconds and can leap tall hurdles in a nonchalant bound; her name is LoLo Jones and she’s a hot LSU grad with three national championship victories and an NCAA title under her belt. Frequently photographed with her mouth gaping open because she’s won an event and nothing says excitement like an open mouth, the sprinter set a world record for the 100 meter hurdle event, posting a time of 12.43 in the Olympic semi-finals.

“I’m just trying to have a little fun,” Jones told the Des Moines Register (hence why her tongue was sticking out of her wide open trap again.)

Tonight she will compete in the 100 meter hurdles. There is almost as much speculation as to LoLo Jones’ ethnicity as whether she will win the event, so here’s a little analogy for you: Jones is to ethnicity as jambalaya is to soup. Didn’t catch that one? Okay, she’s a mix of French, African-American, Native American, and Norwegian descent.
