Ohio State to SEC: Suck It

Ohio State to SEC: Suck It
Just another notch in the belt Saturday as Ohio State defeated Michigan State. With South Florida showing its true colors, OSU is sure to jump even farther ahead in the BCS rankings; something SEC fans are apparently complaining about. This is something that was expected ever since Michigan lost to Appalachian State and discredited the Big Ten's strength.

According to "Best of the SEC Blogs", the BCS system is broken; what a new and unique thought. It is time this talk of Ohio State having a cake schedule be put to rest. It may be easier than most, but OSU still has to win all 12 games to make the national championship; they cannot suffer a loss, or they will only receive an invite to the Rose Bowl. On the other hand, someone from the SEC with one or maybe even two losses has a chance to make the national championship this year.

The bottom line is that OSU plays in a BCS conference and plays BCS quality competition. If a team can go undefeated in a BCS conference they should practically be guaranteed a national championship shot.

And the Rose Bowl is really something to cry about. *exasperated look*

Seriously though, I don't think Wisconsin or Michigan will be cakewalks for OSU. The way the Big Ten's been this year with everyone picking each other off, anything's possible.

Look I'm sure that Ohio State is a legit top 5 team in the country. However if you guys played in the SEC you would be our Auburn or Georgia, always competitive but never in the BCS. You play 6 or 7 big games a year in the SEC unlike the 2 or 3 big wins and you go to the BCS like it is in the Big Ten. http://sectoast.blogspot.com/ Posted 10/29/2007 8:02 PMReply
