Chuck Norris: American Badass, Grad Speaker

Chuck Norris might have chosen the school of hard knocks over going to college, but that doesn't mean the man doesn't have knowledge to impart on America's youth. Norris took time out of his busy schedule for his first graduation speech ever!

And the oh-so lucky college in question? The late Rev. Jerry Falwell's Liberty University. Six-time world karate champ Chuck Norris is a longtime Republican supporter and an American hero against the insidious "homosexual agenda" the liberals push into our school system. No wonder he was Liberty University students' first choice for a commencement speaker.
Chuck was completely comfortable delivering the incredibly moving account of his trying life story and his recent religious awakening (oh yeah, plus skydiving with George Bush, Sr.!). Growing up shy and unathletic? For shame! And even after he discovered his martial arts superpowers, Norris was still a lost lamb -- until he met a woman named Gena, who read the Bible to him.
“It’s like the Holy Spirit hit me and said, ‘Chuck it’s time to come home,’” he recalled. “I was hot for the Lord, and I still am to this day.”
All that hotness is what got Norris Liberty's honorary Doctor of Humanities; the degree was awarded after his speech.
Okay, you've read the facts, now hear from the man himself. The entire speech is on YouTube in two parts: Part One and Part Two.

I am shocked that this didn't get more comments. Do people not love Walker Texas Ranger anymore?!?!

Get it right. He was given the doctorate before his speech not after it.
