Well, Ben Stein has done it again (although, it's hard to say what he's done before). In February 2008, Expelled will be released in theaters. The film documents the evils of  "Big Science" and that scary old Darwinism thing. 

It's being marketed by Motive Entertainment -- the same people who advertised Passion of the Christ, The Chronicles of Narnia, and The Polar Express... As one Brown Daily Jolt user posted, "So, basically you're saying that the right finally got its own Michael Moore." But let's let Ben speak for himself here:

"Big Science in this area of biology has lost its way," says Stein. "Scientists are supposed to be allowed to follow the evidence wherever it may lead, no matter what the implications are. Freedom of inquiry has been greatly compromised, and this is not only anti-American, it's anti-science.
It's anti-the whole concept of learning."

So, who wants to invite Ben Stein to Brown? We are the lefty, hippie, diverse and open-minded Ivy.
