Is Teaching the New iBanking?
Teach for America's recruiting emails are starting to mark seniors' inboxes. Just in time too, since teaching may be the iBanking of the future, according to Slate.com. New books on teaching paint it as a grueling, fast-paced job with unexpected demands, ie. iBanking on steroids.

Indeed, Teach for America is this generation's Peace Corps. Though instead of risking typhoid or whooping cough, the TFA corps risk two years of poverty in the richest country in the world. Twelve percent of Yale's graduating class is doing it, so it must be the new toolish thing. But TFA is not just for masochists. After a few years at TFA, corps grads go on to elite law schools, med schools, and ... investment banks.

Turns out iBanking is still the new iBanking.
