A recent UNC OTR post laments the appearance of shameful navy blue t-shirts in what was once a sea of Carolina blue.

It doesn't stop there. A rumor has been posted on the ACC Football Photos Blog stating that Butch Davis may change the football jersey colors to navy blue. There are even some photoshops of questionable quality demonstrating the potential changes.

One response among the comments nicely illustrates the opposition Davis would face with such changes:

    "Absolute nonsense. My Carolina brethren and I will not stand for this. We will take to the streets and rise up. NO NEW COLORS!"

Rather evocative of an angry, pitchfork-wielding mob, don't ya think?
