Princeton Students Gather to Gawk at Frosh
Group humiliation entered its fourth year as Princeton freshman paraded through Fitzrandolph gate in the annual "Pre-Rade." Marching in line behind the band after the mandatory convocation, the freshmen looked surprisingly refreshed. After all, these were the first steps on the "grand adventure" that President Tilghman promised in her opening address.

Meanwhile, older Princeton students were on hand to provide support--like the gaggle of sorority girls searching the crowd and pointing out the ones who looked like Pi Phi, Theta, or Kappa material.

The frosh were rewarded at the end of the march with T-shirts. Freshmen lucky enough to get a shirt before they ran out can now proudly walk around with the word "rookie" across their backs.
