Oh that's just a stereotype... right?
The UCSB Greek System has just started Fall Rush, one of their biggest and most important events of the year, and what a rush indeed.
Current members rush around to get too much work done, the sorority girls rush around to get together their outfits to meet dress code, and the newbies rush at the chance to get comfort, acceptance, and the ever coveted "Greek" title. The frat guys, of course, don't rush at all, but instead kick back and BBQ.
So much rushing makes one wonder: how do they get to know anyone? What a big step for the newbies to pledge alligance to letters they don't recognize and call complete strangers their brothers or sisters.
All this rushing means a lot of stress. No wonder they, uh, drink so much afterwards.
