TOMS:Shoes for Tomorrow--for every pair of shoes you buy, TOMS Shoes will donate an extra pair to a child in need. Blake Mycoskie, a former contestant on "The Amazing Race," started this cause in May 2006, and since then has donated over 10,000 pairs of shoes to children in Argentina and 50,000 in South Africa. This year, the Santa Monica-based organization plans to give at least 200,000 pairs around the world.
TOMS Shoes are available for women, men, and children. Not only are they sold online, but are also found at your local Macy’s, Urban Outfitters, American Rag, and Bloomingdale’s. For best bets, check out the website's store locator tool. The shoes all bear the same slip-on style, like Crocs but better (much better). Unlike Crocs, they come in an endless variety of designs AND you can even design your own!
Needless to say, these shoes are for a great cause, and they'll only cost you around $38 a pair. That's like a 2-for-1 deal! Literally!
